Dolores Boehnke Obituary
July 31, 1928 - January 19, 2026
Overland Park, Kansas - Dolores Eleanor (Drees) Boehnke, 97, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on January 19, 2026. Born July 31, 1928, in Garden City, she was a lifelong educator and gifted musician who shared her talents through teaching, singing, playing piano, organ, and violin. She also served as a Stephen Minister for 19 years. Dolores married Rev. Roland Boehnke in 1952, and they shared 70 years of marriage until his passing in 2022. She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mission, KS.
