Mrs. Dolores A. Cooney, 87, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Emanuel Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1938, in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Anthony Sava and Sylvia Nekrasz Sava. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Sava.
Mrs. Cooney is survived by her son, Joseph Cooney (Catherine Davenport) of Cheney Washington; daughters, Karen Lebowitz (Isaac) of Alpharetta, Debra Lobel of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Marie Lebowitz, Aaron Lebowitz, Tony Williams, Jessica Olson; great granddaughter, Brooklyn Marchand; her fur babies and other family members.
