Rebekah Beard, 52, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Augusta. She was born on July 8, 1973, in Wrangle, Alaska to Bud Milton Beard and Deloris McCaslin.
Rebekah was a devoted follower of Christ. She had a way with children and animals. Her laughter, smile, and singing could brighten even the darkest of days. Rebekah was known as a true social butterfly, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, hiking, riding motorcycles, and any kind of traveling adventures. Additionally, she found pleasure in serving others and was often busy in the kitchen canning pickles and baking her world-famous pies.
Rebekah is survived by her husband, Jason Dahl; daughter, Savannah Smyer; son, David Dahl; estranged children, Shehalee Tialarea, Shyanne Baylash, Payton Smyer; brothers, Richard Beard, Justin McCaslin, Wade Beard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
