On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Dolores Mae Dotson, 81, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Jerry J. Dotson for 62 years before his passing in October of 2020. She was born on September 1, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late Clara V. (Widerman) Booth.
She was a wonderful homemaker, always being there for her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For many years she had bred and sold Yorkshire Terriers, and enjoyed making many meaningful connections with various people.
Dolores is survived by four children, Patricia Lamb and husband Thomas, Jerry Dotson, Jr. and wife Cathy, Sandra Dotson and fiancee Jack Logan, and Mary Dotson; one sister, Martha Dotson; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason and Brandon Lamb and wife Natalie, Brittany Dotson, Tiffany DiLeonardo and husband Dennis, Jarrett Dotson, Broc Schmelyun, Trevor Dotson, Colby Hartlaub and wife Pilar, and Paige Coleman and husband Ryan; and also 9 great-grandchildren, Emery Arvelo, Maverick DiLeonardo, Kynlee Lamb,Kendall Lamb, Brianna Mack, Tyler Mack, Bella Ochoa, Aurora Hartlaub, and Remi Hartlaub. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; mother, Clara; one son, Michael Dotson; and four brothers, Robert (Bobby) Caple, William (Fuzzy) Caple, Leroy (Buddy) Caple, and Donald Caple.
Public viewings will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 2-4 pm and again from 6pm until a funeral service begins at 7:30pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you vote for Donald J. Trump. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
