With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Dolores Garcia, born on April 4, 1933, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dolores passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025.
Dolores was a beacon of strength and resilience, always striving to provide for her family. Her love for her children was unparalleled, and she was a source of constant support and inspiration to them. Dolores was a woman of great character, loved by all who knew her.
She leaves behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of her children, Myrta Gonzalez, Nereida Bonet, Maria Bonet, and Angel Bonet. She also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Pedro Garcia and Maria Rivera.
A viewing for Dolores Garcia will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, located at 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109.

Dolores fue un modelo de fortaleza y resiliencia, siempre esforzándose por mantener a su familia. Su amor por sus hijos era incomparable y era una fuente constante de apoyo e inspiración para ellos. Dolores fue una mujer de gran carácter, amada por todos los que la conocieron.
Deja un legado que quedará grabado para siempre en el corazón de sus hijos, Myrta González, Nereida Bonet, María Bonet y Ángel Bonet. También deja muchos nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos, muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y una gran cantidad de familia y amigos. Sus padres, Pedro García y María Rivera, fallecieron antes que ella.
