Ramon Morales Rios

With deep love and profound sadness, we commemorate the life of my dear father, Ramon Morales Rios, who was born on March 11, 1953, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, and was called home on October 26, 2025. Ramon was a man of profound faith, living his life with the compassionate heart and resilient spirit that exemplified the teachings of his faith. His generosity was boundless, and his humility, a testament to his character. His life was a living testament to the scripture: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms" (1 Peter 4:10).
Ramon was a devoted husband to my mother, Julia Torres, and a loving father to myself and my siblings, Josue, Samuel, Rebecca, and Jose Morales. He also was a loving grandfather to his 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Ramon kept a close relationship with his living father Restituto Morales and his sister Mildred Morales from Puerto Rico. He was a beacon of love that extended beyond our family, reaching the community he served. As a technician at Hydro Pro, he ensured that his work was always executed with the utmost care and precision. His dedication to his work was paralleled only by his dedication to serving God and preaching the gospel. His prayers reached every corner of our family, the community, and beyond. He was the embodiment of the scripture, "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Ramon's life was a testament not just to the power of faith, but to the power of love, kindness, and generosity. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Rios, but his spirit, his teachings, and his love live on through us, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and his beloved wife, Julia.
The first viewing will be held for Ramon on Wednesday, 05 Nov 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM., at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA., followed by his burial at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, Massachusetts.
