Dolores Grieff

DOLORES GRIEFF, 93, of Piscataway, NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her residence at Parker at River Road.
Dolores was born on January 26, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY to Max and Laura Charnas.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald in 1969, Dolores raised her 2 young children, Jeffrey and Marci.
Dolores had a successful 40+ year career at Bulova Watch Company where she worked until her retirement at age 73. It was there, where she met John O'Bay. John was a wonderful and loving partner for many years.
Dolores and John moved to Rossmoor, in Monroe Township, New Jersey shortly after she retired in 2005. There she was greatly involved in the community, serving as a director of her mutual for many years. She was also very active in and served as an officer of the Jewish Congregation and the Rossmoor Players Theatre Group. Dolores frequently performed in many of the group's productions. These were some of the most enjoyable moments of her life.
She also enjoyed playing games like Puzzly Words (online with her son Jeff), Mahjong and Trivia Crack (online with her daughter Marci) and Scrabble with any family member who wanted to play.
But her most enjoyable moments were times spent with her grandchildren: JD, Brian and Steven. In addition to her grandsons, Dolores is survived by her daughter, Marci, son-in-law, James, son, Jeffrey, daughter-in-law, Dawn and granddaughters-in-law, Michelle and Kasey. Lastly, by her dearly loved great-grandchildren: Carter, Cassidy and Lainey. She was a wonderful and much-loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Services will be held Friday December 5, 2025 at 10:15 am at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Rd. East Brunswick, NJ 08816. Cemetery to follow at Old Montefiore, Queens, NY.
