Dolores Lucille Head
March 2, 1941 - November 16, 2025

Dolores Lucille Head, 84, passed peacefully from this life on November 16, 2025, in Trinity, Texas. She was born on March 2, 1941, in Giddings, Texas, to Martin Erich and Elsie Edna (Polnick) Schulze. A woman of deep faith, Dolores was a devoted and longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church in Huntsville, where she nurtured her relationship with the Lord and her church community.
Dolores cherished the outdoors and found great joy in camping, proudly participating as a member of the FMCA Camping Club. She spent twenty-seven dedicated years with Mobil Oil Corporation before retiring, carrying with her a strong work ethic and many lasting friendships; but retirement did not last long Dolores still had too much energy to sit at home, so she went to work for TDCJ, where she retired for a second time.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Lee Head; daughter, Kristie Crespo & son-in-law, John Crespo Sr.; grandchildren, Jennifer Head, Miranda Box and Jason Box; great-grandchildren, Mason Brooks, Kaden Barnfield, Carter Moore, Chloe Pickens, Whitney Pickens, and Callie Wizner; great-great-grandson, Felix Brooks; brother, Bert Schulze, as well as many other family members and a host of friends.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Wayne Head; sister, Shirley Diane Head; brother, Frankin Schulze, sisters-in-law, Norma Schulze, and Vera Schulze; brother-in-law, Prentiss Dale Head; granddaughter, Rachel Diane Rea; and nephew, Eric Head.
Pallbearers: Jason Box, Mason Brooks, Kaden Barnfield, Carter Moore, Donald Schulze, and Steven Schulze.
A Visitation will be held from 5pm till 7pm Thursday November 20, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 N, Livingston, Texas.
A Celebration of Dolores Life will begin at 11am Friday, November 21, 2025, with Pastor Mike Loftin officiating.
Graveside Service to begin at 2pm at Brookside Memorial Park,13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039.
