Dolores Labbe

Dolores (Fournier) Labbe passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 at the age of 100. Dolores lived a full and meaningful life touching many with her openness, kindness and a ready smile.
Born in Wallagrass, Maine to Edward and Aggie Fournier, she was the youngest of five children. She was raised on a potato farm and learned how to pick potatoes at a young age, which she abhorred. At the age of 18 she bravely moved south to Connecticut to start a new life. She later returned to Maine to marry her love, Lionel, but they returned to Connecticut to live and raise their family of two sons.
Dolores is survived by her son Richard and his wife Elaine; her daughter-in-law Sylvia; five grandchildren: Richard and his wife Paula, Anthony, Nicole and her husband Terrence, Kenneth and his wife Heather, Matthew and his wife Shannon. She also leaves behind six great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and a special great-great-grandson who made her smile with glee even at the end of her days.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lionel, her son Jim, and her siblings Sylvio, Leo, Marie, and Jeanette.
She spent the last 13 years of her life at St. Joseph's Residence where she was surrounded by companionship, friendship, and love. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to the Sisters and staff for their kindness and care.
In honor of her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements will be held privately for the immediate family on Thursday, November 6.
