Dolores Louise (Boyed) Patterson, 91 of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her home, peacefully surrounded with family and loved ones.

She entered this life May 12, 1934, in Rocky Comfort, Missouri, born to the union of the late Dewey G. and Gladys L. (Moller) Boyed.

On September 15, 1950, Dolores married Charles W. Patterson. To this union nine (9) children were born.

In early days of childhood, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Later in life she rededicated her life while attended Valley View Church in Pineville, Missouri. She stayed true and faithful to God, to her husband, her children, family, to her church and her community. Later, she made Tracy Community Church her home church.

She worked hard, very seldom were her hands idle. She always had supper on the table, also preparing Friday night suppers/Sunday dinner, never turning away anyone. She gardened/canned every year to supply for her family. She also worked beside her husband and children gathering wood supply for the winter. She was a quilter, making sure her children and grandchildren had a homemade quilt. Delores also worked in the food pantry at Valley View Church for several years. She also worked at United Way. Many people knew her only as "Granny" often asking what her name really was.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Charles W. Patterson, her step-father Lee Walt Byrd, brother, Dewey Boyed Jr., three sisters, Betty Gold, Joan Stewart and Mona Blevins; 2 sons-in-law, Max Watkins and Fred Jansen; four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.

Dolores is survived by her children, Charlotte Walker of St. Peters, Missouri; Billie Kaye Alumbaugh (Mark) of Anderson, Missouri, Jerry Patterson (Anita) of Anderson, Missouri, Hope Haddock (Jerry) of Anderson, Missouri, Vickie Jansen, Anderson, Missouri; Becky Leonard (Scott) of Anderson, Missouri, John Patterson, of Stella, Missouri, Chuck Patterson of Pineville, Missouri, Scott Patterson (Lynnette) of Anderson, Missouri; two brothers, Brad Boyed (Anna) of Lanagan, Missouri, Jack Boyed of Diamond Missouri; two sisters, Lynnette Page of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Sharon Greenwood of Blue Jacket, Oklahoma; Eleven grandchildren and Eleven Step-grandchildren; Fifteen Great Grandchildren; Fourteen Step-Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren. Along with a host of many other family members and loved ones.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2025 at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri with her son-in-law, Pastor Scott Leonard and her pastor, Pastor Buddy Pease officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Anderson, Missouri. Those honorary her life by serving as pallbearers are her Grandsons; Brian Walker, Peter Alumbaugh, Matthew Patterson, Thomas Elliott, Jeremy Elliott and Jon Patterson. Honorary Pallbearers are Derrek Woodard, Brett Woodard, and Hunter Elliott. Mark Alumbaugh will read the obituary.
