She was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and was honorably discharged in December 1973 after serving as a Transportation Coordinator at Fort Eustis in Virginia.
Dolores loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship in Olmstedville, New York. Dolores also proudly volunteered and was a member in many clubs and organizations. She was a member of the Sleeping Giants, the Minerva Service Organization, Veterans Bicentennial Committee, a Judge for the Minerva Day Parades, a past member of the Minerva Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Grace Bible Prayer Warriors.
She cherished the time she spent with her beloved family and dear friends. She will be remembered most for her love, generosity, service to others, acts of kindness, playful sense of humor, her laugh, her beautiful smile and her deep-rooted love for her family. She was a social butterfly at heart and enjoyed being around people. She loved nature, wildlife and animals and being outdoors. She enjoyed going hunting with her late husband. She was extremely proud of her service to our great country. She was a beacon of hope for those with cancer as she fought, overcome and was cancer free. Her love and devotion to her family and friends was unconditional. She was the best sister (she and her sister loving called each other "Sissy"), was a loving daughter, and cherished aunt. She is extremely missed by all whom loved her and had the privilege of knowing her.
