Dolores Jane Wurst, 87, of LeRaysville, PA, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026.
Dolores was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Ann Marie (Sitarski) and Carman Monica. On October 24, 1959, Dolores was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Leonard Wurst Sr., and together they shared 61 years of devoted marriage before his passing on June 6, 2020. Their life was grounded in faith, love, and an unwavering commitment to family.
Family was the heart of Dolores’s life. She is survived by her children: Linda and James Berry; Sharon and Bruce Goble; and Leonard and Kathleen Wurst, all of LeRaysville, PA. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Brian (Cody) Wurst, Jessica (Jeremy) Cole, Emily (Tony) Dans, Hannah (Tyler) Emick, Abigail Goble, Amy (Matt) Gray, and Randy (Jessica) Wurst. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and pride.
A woman of deep faith, Dolores lived her life guided by strong values and quiet strength. She found her greatest happiness in caring for her family, gathering around the table, and celebrating life’s milestones together. Her love and devotion created a foundation that will continue for generations.
