Dolphie Fay Littrell

Dolphie Fay, son of Elbert Ellis and Edith (Shaddy) Littrell, was born July 20, 1935, at Aline and passed away November 24, 2025, at Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 90 years, 4 months, and 4 days.

Fay was raised in the Aline area where he graduated high school. He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country. After his discharge he then began a career with the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company until his retirement. In 1979 he was united in marriage to Lynne Littrell in Annapolis, Maryland. He enjoyed playing chess and the finesse of the game. In their later years they made their home in Wichita, Kansas.

Besides his parents, Elbert and Edith, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Littrell; two sons, John Littrell and Daniel Littrell; two daughters, Diane Littrell and Donna Sodee; siblings, Jack Littrell, Pete Littrell, George Littrell, Wanda Goins, and Norma Hufford.

Fay is survived by two sons, David Littrell of Frederick, Maryland and Joseph Clifton of Aurora, Colorado; brothers, Ray Littrell of Custer, Washington and Bill Littrell and wife, Rene, of Cleo Springs; three sisters, Barbara Kletke of Alva, Peggy VanMeter of Dacoma, and Alberta Littrell of Alva; seven grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
