Dominic Grant Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on November 12, 1978, in Tucson, Dominic lived a life filled with love laughter, and dedication to his family and friends.
Dominic had a fulfilling career at Copenhagen Imports, where he worked for 13 years. His strong work ethic was matched with only the warmth of his spirit. He excelled in every aspect of his life, and his commitment to his family was evident in everything he did. Dominic was a remarkable family man who enjoyed every moment spent with his wife of 19 years, Andrea Grant, and their only child, Dominic Grant Jr. He took immense pride in raising his son, reveling in the praise he received from others about the accomplishments of his boy.
Education played an important role in Dominic’s early life, having started at Keen Elementary School and then attending Mansfield Middle School before continuing his education at the Job Corp. His willingness to learn and grow was reflected in his caring nature and the generous heart that was all his own. He was selfless and giving, always ready to lend a hand or a kind word to anyone in need.
Dominic's personality was as vibrant as it was welcoming. He always wore a smile and had a heart that was only matched by his stature. Those who knew him experienced his infectious positivity, which was evident in the way he engaged in light-hearted banter with his wife's family, who quickly embraced him as one of their own. Through laughter and wit, he ultimately found a way to hold his own in their playful jabs, proving he was both a gentle giant and a humorous spirit.
A lover of sports, Dominic enjoyed watching baseball, especially cheering for the Dodgers, alongside his unwavering support for the Raiders football team. He cherished leisurely drives with his wife and son, and savoring meals shared with family brought him profound happiness. Vacations were adventures he looked forward to, as well as moments spent enjoying drinks and shared stories with loved ones. With a playful enthusiasm for shopping, Dominic also developed a unique collection of shoes and hats, always keeping them clean and pristine.
Dominic is survived by his beloved wife, Andrea Grant; his son, Dominic Grant Jr.; and his sister, Danielle Grant. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elmanida Grant, whose love and guidance paved the way for the compassionate man he became.
A visitation to honor Dominic will be held on November 15, 2025, at the Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, Arizona, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 11:00 AM. As we remember Dominic Grant Sr., we celebrate the joy he brought into countless lives and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
