Dominic L. Licavoli Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Age 93 years. The son of the late James and Antonina (Scola) Licavoli, Dominic was born on April 1, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Emma Felice on July 23, 1955. She predeceased him on January 6, 2018. Dominic was employed at General Motors Corp. for 30 years until his retirement in 1997. He also worked at Jack's Fruit Market. Dominic was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish - St. Helen Catholic Church and had volunteered at the Castle Museum. Dominic enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his family. He had a love for supporting veteran organizations.
Surviving are one son, three daughters, and their spouses, James D. Licavoli, Bay City; Nina (Mark) Suchy, Bay City; Annette (Jerry) Crete, Essexville; Julianne (Jeff) MacDonald, Kissimmee, Florida; eight grandchildren, Rose, Anthony, Sarah, Mark, Jay, Andrew, Adam and Anna; five great-grandchildren, Breslyn, Callie, Baylor, Brooklyn and Nicholas; many nieces and nephews. Dominic was preceded in death by his grandson, Eric Blair; his siblings, Lena Licavoli, Emma Stabek, Elizabeth Licavoli, Phillip Licavoli, Joseph Licavoli, Samuel Licavoli, Rose Grillo, Genevieve Hunkins, Josephine Schuster and Sr. Grace Licavoli, O.P.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish -St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St. Rev. Fr. Christopher Coman will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army and V.F.W Post 1859. Private interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Family and friends will pray the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Christ the Good Shepherd Parish.
