Dominick Basciano Obituary
Born in 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Dominick and Katherine (née Picciolo) Basciano. Dominick was the loving father of Anthony, Renee Skiles (Butch), Dominick(Danielle), Jeff, Samantha (Eddie); Poppie to Dominique, Ava, Lucy, Dominick III, Eddie, Eric, and Evan Skiles; brother of Maryann, Michael and the late Arthur Basciano. Also surviving his loving companion, Anna.
He was proud of his 42 years of recovery and his passion was for the NA program. He lived a no regret life and did his best to help and guide anyone who needed it.
Dominick made a living as a union carpenter and retired at age 55. He fulfilled his dream of moving to Florida and traveling often. Dominick lived his best life every day, always had a smile and a love for music and dancing. He was very well known in the Delco area. Some say a legend. He was loved by many and especially by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 9:00am at Alexander-Levitt Funeral & Cremations.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Mirmont Treatment Center, 100 Yearsley Mill Rd, Lima, PA 19063, C/O Dominick Basciano.
