Dominick Gilardi Jr.

Dominick Gilardi, Jr., of Levittown, PA, passed away at home on January 20, 2025, at the age of 72. He was the loving father of Sandy DiBerardino and her wife Denise, Steven Gilardi and his wife Sara, and Tony Gilardi; and the cherished grandfather of Leo DiBerardino. Dominick will also be deeply missed by lifelong friend, and mother of his children, Deanne Burk. He was also survived by his brother-in-law Gerald Mellor, Sr., niece Debra Snively, nephew Gerald Mellor, Jr., great nieces Lorie Ann Murphy and Samantha Reed, and several great great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bulma. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lorie Mellor and Donna Gilardi; his parents, Elva Juanita Springer and Dominick Gilardi, Sr.; and his parents-in-law, George and Dolores Bower. Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, Dominick grew up in Bristol and lived in Levittown for the past 40 years, where he raised his family. As a child, Dominick was active in the Salvation Army, where he made many fond memories and longlasting friendships, most notably, Carl Harris, his "brother from another mother". Dominick worked in the manufacturing industry as a machinist until his retirement in 2017. He was a sports fan and took pride in coaching his sons' little league baseball teams. He enjoyed cooking, Sunday spaghetti and meatballs being his specialty. He was a diehard Eagles fan, and has a brick dedicated to him on their Fan Walk. Go Birds!
Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering in celebration of Dominick's life on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA.
