Dominick Anthony LaBate, born December 6, 1944, to Angela and Julius LaBate, passed away peacefully in his sleep.
A proud graduate of Plainview High School, Class of 1962, Dominick went on to enjoy a long and successful career as Senior Manager of Business Service Centers at Federal Express, a role he held with passion for over 20 years.
He spent more than 35 joyful years with his partner and husband, Vinny, building a life of love, humor, and shared adventures.
Dominick was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind his brother Joseph LaBate and sister Leonora Hebenstreit. He was a beloved uncle to Anthony and Joseph LaBate, and to Scott, Rich, and Tracy Randolph. His great-nieces and nephews, along with many cherished friends, will deeply miss him.
He will be remembered as a funny and unique character who loved life on his own terms and who could always find laughter in the moment and bring a smile to a room. Dominick adored his loyal dog, Buddy, and cherished evenings sipping apple martinis with friends at AZ/88, surrounded by good company and stories worth telling.
Viewing and service will be held this Friday, September 12, 2025, at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary - 12065 N Saguaro Boulevard, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the vibrant life he lived.
