Lewiston -On Sunday, February 12, 2012 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Dominique Turmenne went to join his wife Muriel in heaven.
Dom was born May 13, 1925 in Lewiston, ME to Edmond and Laura Turmenne. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he eventually retired after many years as a sheet metal worker in Local 545.
Our Dad was an avid 'tinkerer' and could do just about anything. He especially enjoyed hours spent boating and fishing with Mom. He was dedicated to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Muriel Poisson; and also his parents.

A special thanks goes to the assisted living staff at Clover Health Care for the love and dedicated care given to our Dad during the last 6 years of his life.
A private family service will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter, 383 US Route 1 Ste 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074
