Date of Birth: April 7, 1953
Terry Jean Bennett, 72, of Lewiston, ME passed away on September 30th at St. Mary's D'Youville Pavilion. She was born on April 7th 1953 to parents Odis Self and Naomi Knight. She was born in French Camp, California, moved to LA in 1956 and attended school there, moved to Texas in 1972, then eventually moved to Maine in 1991. Terry loved spending time with family, friends, and loved spending time with her grandkids. She loved to watch Saturday morning cartoons and the TV show M.A.S.H. Terry also loved to spend time with her feline friends and enjoyed baking and cooking around the holidays especially Christmas time.
In 2022 Terry was diagnosed with lung cancer. She went into remission until 2023 subsequently needing surgery. The cancer ultimately spread to her bones in 2025.
She was predeceased by her parents Odis and Naomi.
Terry is survived and loved by her best friend of 25 years Eldan Miranda, Jason Cole and family, JP and family, Robert Frechette and family, Robert Price and family, grandkids Gage, Kayentamae, Ryker, as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers please consider planting a tree in Terry's memory.
