Don Carlos Call Sr., 99, of Louisville, Kentucky, and formerly of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away June 24, 2025, after a brief illness. Don was born on February 10, 1926 in Phoenix, AZ. He was the son of W.B. Call Sr. and Anna Lida Call. He retired form Carrier Building Services and was a member of Local 502 for over 50 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. His two brothers and three sisters predeceased him, as did his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Call (1981) and his second wife, Margie Call (2020). Don is survived by sons: Don Call Jr. (Sue), Douglas Call (Mona), Dennis Call (Patty), and son-in-law Brian Murrell (Gilda, dec). A service will be held July 26, 2025 in the O.T. Hinton Mausoleum at Johnson Memorial Park, Visitation from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the Wounded Project.
