Don "Duck" Davis Sr. age 92 of Cottage Grove, MN left this earth on April 28, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 31, 2024 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church , 920 Holley Ave.; St. Paul Park, MN with visitation one hour prior to service from 9:30-10:30 AM.  Following the service, all are invited to a Celebration of Life Luncheon at the American Legion, 328 Broadway Ave.; St. Paul Park, MN. Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. 

Don was born June 14, 1931 in St. Paul, MN.  He graduated from the Mechanic Arts High School in St. Paul, MN in 1949.  He later served in the military as a Marine from 1951-1952.  Don was a proud brewer at Hamm's Brewery where he worked for over 40 years.  

Don was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, son, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Florence "Flo"; mother Linda Hamann; siblings Betty (Chick) Swanson, Art (Mona), Jerry (Lilly); and Gary Ventrone.

Don is survived by "My Beautiful Schatzi" Rosemarie Ventrone; children Cindy (Jack) Henke, Donnie (Patty), Pam (Clayton) Andrews, Bean (Larry) Andrews, Jane (Todd) Lescarbeau, Bob (Lisa), Diana Bezdicek, Nina (Matt) Schneider; 25 grandchildren Craig (Krysteenah) Andrews, Ben (Dana) Andrews, Stephanie Andrews, Scott (Amy) Andrews, Jeff (Megan) Andrews, Jayme (Andrea) Andrews, Kenny (Brittany) Davis, Andy Davis, Will (Hillary) Lyle, Bobby (Kim) Lyle, Ashley (Craig) Henke, Katie Lescarbeau, Carrie Lescarbeau, Bobby Lescarbeau, Joe (Steph) Perzichilli, Noah Nagle, Olivia Nagle, Nicole (Shaun) Felipe, Ryan (Aimee) Bezdicek, Matthew (Caitlin) Bezdicek, Christopher Bezdicek, Jessica Ventrone, Ethan Ventrone, Ty Schneider and Eli Schneider; 32 great-grandchildren Lily, Isaiah, Micah, Kyson, Bennett, Kolby, Isley, Isaac, Gage, Isabelle, Tyler, Max, Emmitt, Lucas, Henry, Weston, Owen, Fletcher, Oliver, Shane, Cody, Jaxon, Ady, Wes, Leo, Vivian, Adelina, Ewan, Eloise, Emilio, Carter and Skyllar; siblings Nin (Dick) Marrinson and Peter (Kris); as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
