Don B. Fellers, 84, of Pampa, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2023 in Pampa.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 24, 2023 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, and Dale Meadows, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Don was born January 18, 1939 in Hereford to Buford and Byrdie Scheihagen Fellers. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1957. Don later graduated from college with a degree in accounting. On August 10, 1958, he married Ann in Hereford. In August, they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage. Don moved to Pampa in 1971 and opened his own accounting firm, Fellers Bookkeeping and Tax Service, in 1979. He had a passion for his work and his clients, and he was considered to be “a workaholic”. He was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. Don enjoyed wood working in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roswell and Lura Idell Scheihagen; mother, Byrdie Dee Scheihagen Fellers; and niece, Jennifer Fellers.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of the home; four daughters, Vonda Smith and husband Kirk, Valisa Chambers and husband Rusty, Charmy Shrode and husband Danny, and Kimberley Knipe and husband Shannon; a brother, Dick Fellers and wife Pam; and 9 grandchildren, Matthew Smith and wife Amber, Rebecca Redding and husband Ryan, Rachael Smith and husband Chris, Maranda Gaddy and husband Jeremy, Kebi Allen and husband Matt, Tarra Schapansky and husband James, Chandler Shrode, Carson Shrode and wife Maddy Jo, and K.C. Han and husband Eugene; and 17 great grandchildren, Emma, Micah, Evie, Kyleigh, Harley, Paul, James, Clarity, Levi, Audrey, Bailey, Miles, Maci, Camden, Siles, Yuri, Daniel, and Jayce; and two nephews, Randy Fellers and wife Karla and Will Fellers; and his favorite dog, Fred.
The family would like to thank Greg and Nancy Sims, Becky Willis, and Dale Meadows for the love and care they have shown to Don and Ann.
