He was born October 14, 1940 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Verle and Lucille (Echternach) Hansen.
Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son Mark in July 2022, sister Sharon Johnson.
Don is survived by his wife Sandra, children Lisa Hansen of Cambridge, Kristin (Jake) Jacobson of Coon Rapids, Ryan (Tressy) Hansen of Lino Lakes, daughter-in-law Gerti Hansen of Cambridge, five grandchildren Lindsay (Keith) Koroschetz, Mitchell (Jessica Mae) Hansen, William Jacobson, Olivia Jacobson, and Carter Hansen, step grandchildren Nicole Annis, Denise (Jason) Korbol, brother Terry (Wendy) Hansen of New Richland, WI, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service 11AM, Monday, September 8, 2025 at New Hope Community Church, Cambridge Campus. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Isanti Union Cemetery.

Don was a loving , caring husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed. My heart goes out to his wife Sandy and his family. Praying for all to be strong. Your passing leaves a heartache that no one call heal, but Love leaves a memory that no one can steal
