Don Robinson Obituary
Don was well loved in the North Georgia area having served God through many years singing gospel music in quartet's and directing choirs. He sang in many gospel quartet's including Happy Harmony Nobleman and he retired from US Pipe after 42 years. He proudly served in the US Navy for 4 years as Aviation Machinist 3rd Class. He was a life-long resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area and a member of Anchor of Hope Baptist Church. Don graduated from Chattanooga High School Class of 1950.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beulah Robinson; grandson Brad Robinson; his sister Gwen Asbell and Son-in-law David Downs.
Survivors include his son Danny (Denise) Robinson, Daughters Alice (Jeff) Pollard and Donna Downs, Grandchildren Scott, Danielle, and Jennifer, 7 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday with Pastor Dan Mouw and Rev. Chris Eaves officiating. Interment will be at 2:45 PM Monday with military honors at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anchor of Hope Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 1-4 PM Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
