Don Savage Obituary
Don was born on August 27, 1933, in Tippo, Mississippi, to Jack Brown Savage and Ollie Mente (Wolf) Savage. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and dedicated his entire professional career to the telecommunications industry. A faithful member of Midway Church of God, Don had a deep love for his church and his faith. He was known for singing hymns throughout the house during the day, filling his home with music and joy. His warm spirit and steadfast faith touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Elaine Savage; and his son, Sam Savage.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann Savage; his son, Donny Savage and wife Susie; his siblings, Joyce Whitton and Rex Savage; and numerous grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the family at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
