Donald Anglin, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on October 13, 2025, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Donald was born on October 24, 1940, in Summit, NJ, to Edward and Ida Anglin. After earning his high school diploma, he served his country in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force after ten years of service. Later, he worked as a computer operator and school bus driver. Donald was a Mason for many years.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anglin, and his brother, Edward J. Anglin. He is survived by his children, Steven Mann, Sonia Anglin Downing (Rev. Alphonso Downing, Jr.), LaJetta White, Corey Donald Johnson-Anglin (Chantell), and Nichole V. Sims; close friend, Olivia Colson; nephews, Eddie Anglin (Mary), Brian Anglin, and Richard Anglin; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
The family will host a private celebration of his life at his home on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
