Donald Behm Obituary
Mr. Donald John Behm, 80, of Germanton, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday May 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving and supportive family. He was born April 12, 1945, in Brooklyn Kings, NY to the late Louis William Behm and Rose Marie Norkus Behm. He proudly served our country in the US Marines. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter and son-in-law, Corey Bingham (Paul); sons and daughters-in-law, Ian Behm (Marielena), Keith Behm (Sarah), Jared Behm (Cali), Chad Behm, Seth Behm, Tyson Behm; 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan Mahlstedt (Arthur) and Diane Rose Murphy (Dennis). In addition to his parents, Mr. Behm was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Holly Doreen Carlson Behm. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 31, 2025, at 12:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pilot Mountain with Corey Bingham, Jeff Long, and Bishop Haynie officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiatt Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00am until time for the service at the church. The family would like to say thank you to the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Pilot Mountain for all of the support given to Donald and the family during his illness. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
