Don was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on June 15, 1946, a son of the late John D. "Jack" and Alice V. (Baker) Bennett. He worked at ODOT as a project manager until his retirement in 2000. Don enjoyed golfing.
Preceding Don in death was his brother Ronald D. Bennett.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda (Maloney) Bennett; son Brian Bennett and his wife Janet; three grandchildren, whom he loved and adored, Raven Bennett, Autumn Bennett and Steven Deak and his wife Brooke; sister Barbara Bennett and her wife Denise and sister-in-law Linda Bennett.
A private service was held at the Dawson Funeral Home per Don's request. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
