Donald Benton age 76 of Will May Branch, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at his home. He was born May 26, 1948 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Dazzell and Ina Belle Bailey Benton.
Survived by his wife Brenda Oney Benton, one son, Rondal Benton of Salyersville, Kentucky, one grandson, who he raised as his own, Lonnie Don (Haley) Benton of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, James Daniel (Sue) Benton of Salyersville, Kentucky, four sisters, Linda (Pat) Purcell of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brenda (Russell) Barker of Missouri, Shirley (Don) Knobloch of Dayton, Ohio, and Earie Dingus of Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by one brother, James Ray "Bill" Benton, five sisters, Judy Keeton, Joyce Davis, Marie Mohr, Mary Lee Willis, Deloris Perkins and his father and mother-law, Orbett and Farie Oney.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 23, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Floyd Arnett and Johnny Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Donald Benton Cemetery at White Oak, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
