He was born on June 16, 1955, in Wilmington, DE to the late Anna & John Biddle. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1974 and began his career working with New Castle County Emergency Services from1975 – 2006. Donald was a lifetime member of the Odessa Fire Company.
He loved the University of Delaware basketball, all kinds of professional sports, eating at his favorite restaurants, and walking the boardwalk at the beach.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert C. Biddle.
He is survived by his two sons, Alexander Biddle of Dover, DE and Joshua Biddle of Wilmington, DE along with his ex-wife - Joyce Biddle of Wilmington DE.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11am at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE. A viewing will be held from 10-11am, and a burial will follow in Old Drawyers Cemetery.
