Donald R. Cobb, age 67, of Rittman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born on June 24, 1958, he was the son of the late Charles Lee and Madalynn (Donley) Cobb. Don lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a passion for the things he loved most: his family, his friends and his hobbies.
A proud diesel mechanic, Don worked for over 20 years at Altrux Repair in Rittman before retiring in 2025. He took great pride in his work and was known for his expertise, reliability, and dedication.
Outside of work, Don found joy in motorcycles, wrestling on television, stock car racing, and working on cars. He enjoyed scrapping and had a special bond with his cats, who were always close by.
He married the love of his life, Joan, on March 27, 2010, and together they shared a life filled with family, laughter, and lasting memories.
Don is survived by his wife, Joan Cobb; his children, Tiffany (John Crouse) Gallo of Salem, OH, and Brandon (Michelle) Cobb of Wadsworth; his stepson, Chris (Amber) Ennis of West Salem; grandchildren, Megan, Angel, Gabriella, Isabella, Leah, Giovanni, Chloe, and Margie; and great-grandchildren, Dakota and Alora. He is also survived by his siblings, Deloris "Char" (Randy) Armentrout and Dallas (Kay) Cobb, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Donald Lee "Boo" Cobb; and his brother, Lyle Cobb.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., officiated by Zach Derr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses, c/o Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth.
