Ellis "Bryan" Blamble Jr., age 62, of Wadsworth, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Born on October 13, 1962, in Wadsworth, Bryan was the son of the late Ellis Brian and Joyce Marie (Harpley) Blamble. He was a proud graduate of Wadsworth High School, Class of 1981.
Bryan was a dedicated operating engineer for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 for 31 years. His work with heavy equipment took him from projects across Ohio to the East Coast, and most recently, he was employed by Stein, Inc. in Mansfield.
A true sports enthusiast, Bryan was a loyal Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He also had a passion for cars. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family-especially his beloved grandson, whom he cherished deeply.
He is survived by his sons, Michael and Matthew Blamble; his grandson, Dylan Blamble; his sister, Jennifer Blamble; and his niece, Anna Blamble-all of Wadsworth. He is also remembered fondly by many close cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by his infant brother, Michael A. Blamble.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 11:00 to 11:45 am prior to the service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bryan's memory to Northside Christian Church (Memo: Food Pantry), 7615 Ridge Road, Wadsworth, OH 44281, or online at https://pushpay.com/g/northsideweb?r=monthly&src=hpp.
