Donald L. David, age 91, of Warner Robins, Georgia passed away on Thursday, 23 October 2025 after a long illness. Don was born in New York City. He was the son of the late Amos and Corelli David of Arlington, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelen McKinney and his daughter, Adonica David.

Don’s parents referred to him as a rolling stone...always on the move. Don enlisted in the Air Force after High School and served for 15 years. He traveled all over the world installing communications and air traffic control equipment. He later went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration serving in multiple positions including Air Traffic Controller and Electronics Technician. Again, he traveled but this time…all over the United States. After approximately 42 years, he retired from the FAA in 1997 and began his contractor career still working on FAA systems. Don traveled even more in this capacity. His crowning achievement in this last job was working on the creation of the 5th Runway at the Atlanta Airport. After 17 years as a contractor, he finally retired for good to spend time with friends and family.

Mr. David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Opal David; his sisters, Ginny and Carol; his son, Robert (Alicia) and his Granddaughter, Corie.

A visitation for Mr. David will be held on Thursday, 30 October 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McCullough funeral home, 417 Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. A funeral Service will be held on 31 October 2025, at 12:30 PM, at McCullough Funeral Home.
