Donald Decker, Jr., 73, passed away on August 13, 2025, in Milford Ohio.

Full of life, Donald made friends everywhere he went. A gifted craftsman, he passed on his love of woodworking to his sons, leaving them love for woodworking and building. He was a devoted husband to Cindy Decker until her passing, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. They fostered several children and opened their home up with love and patience. Donald lived his life fully, cherishing every moment with his children and grandchildren, who were his greatest joy. He never missed a game for all of his kids sports, was very involved and present for all their events and school activities. He believed in the power of giving, in being "all in" with every commitment, and in working hard. He balanced hard work with deep compassion. He taught his family and friends that love is strongest when it's shared openly. Donald leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, craftsmanship. As we honor him, we take comfort knowing he is at peace. Donald is survived by his eight children Tony Decker, Becky Thompson, Nathan Decker, Joey Decker, Paige Decker, Devin Decker, Jimmy Decker, Alisha Decker and 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grand Children, Beloved Brother to Peggy, Linda, Brenda, Jackie and Debbie and a beloved uncle. Donald is preceded in death by parents Donald, Sr. and Ruth Decker and his wife Cynthia. Services for Donald will be held on Monday, August 18th, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Evans Funeral Home, Goshen with visitation beginning at 10:00AM. Burial to follow in Edenton Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Donald's name to help support adoption, helping a child find their forever home. Locally Lighthouse Youth and Family Services or Clermont for Kids.
