Obituary of Donald Ray Gaiter, Sr.
Donald Ray Gaiter, Sr. (aka Donnie) was born August 8, 1951, in Fort Worth, TX to Bobby Lee and Estella Gaiter. He grew up attending Allen Chapel A.M.E Church, as well as Mt. Nebo A.M.E in Lexington, TX (On the family land of Moab where he loved to spend time).
Donald was known for his outgoing and loving personality. He never met a stranger and left a mark on everyone he came in contact with. His jokes and sense of humor could bring light to any room.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1974 until his Honorable discharge in 1980. He then went on to obtain his Degree in Bookkeeping from Sawyer School of Business in 1982. He proved to be a true Jack of All Trades as he possessed skills including, but not limited to, Carpentry, Auto Mechanics, Farming, etc.
He is survived by his Eldest Son Donald Gaiter Jr. and his Youngest Daughter Sierra Gaiter. 5 grandchildren (Oldest to Youngest) TeQuira, Ayanna, Layla, Lei'Ana & Alijaah. Siblings Lorna Geter (Charles), Douglas Gaiter & Darrell Manning (Rochelle).
He is preceded in Death by his Mother & Father Bobby and Estella Gaiter. Eldest Daughter Roshonda Gaiter and Bonus son Kanyon Simien. Brothers Bobby Jr., Gerald Vaughn, Clifford Gaiter & sister Evelyn LaVerne. Maternal and Paternal Grandmothers and Grandfathers.
He also leaves behind a host of Bonus children, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends/brothers Albert Pinchem and Arthur Elder.
