Donald “Don” W. Gehlhausen, 82, of Evansville IN passed away Sunday, October 19th 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born March 16th, 1943, in Evansville to Roy H. and Dorothy M. (Winiger) Gehlhausen. Don was a custodian for EVSC for many years and was very strong in his Catholic faith.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Gehlhausen; son, Cory Gehlhausen; and stepchildren, Keith, Donna and Michael Burton. He is survived by his sons, Robert and Michael Gehlhausen; stepchildren, Danny, Bobby and Richard Burton; and several grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery on Evansville’s west side.
