Nan Hardin Obituary
Nan Hendricks Hardin, 92, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born June 18, 1933, in Knox County, Kentucky, to the late John Hendricks and Dora Meeks Hendricks.
Nan Studied at the University of Evansville and received a master’s degree in education. She was an avid reader, writer, and environmentalist and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Evansville, Indiana.
Nan is survived by her children, Ryan Hugh Hardin, Kevin Hardin and his wife, Ann, Jane Wheeler and her husband, Bob; two grandsons Nathanael Goldbach and Brandon Wheeler; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Hardin Jr; 5 brothers, Dr. Marion Hendricks, George Hendricks, Bill Hendricks, Douglas Hendricks, Hugh Hendricks and her sister, Geneva Hendricks Lindsey.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
