Sharon S. (Davis) Sutton, 77, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Park Terrace Village.
Sharon was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 25, 1948 to the late William and Marie (Kaffenberger) Davis. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Evansville and spent her career working in home care. After retiring as a nurse, Sharon went on to work as a care consultant at Ohio Valley Companion Care. She was a past member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and spent her life devoted to her faith. Sharon taught RCIA and was active with the Spiritual Life Commission and Parish Council. More recent, she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She was a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren and served as a cub scout leader and a girl scout leader. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Sharon is survived by her sons, John Sutton (Staci) and Joshua Sutton (Shawna); and grandchildren, David and Nora Sutton.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
