Donald Lee Housden, Sr., 85, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.
Born November 6, 1939 in Bunker Hill, WV, he was the son of the late Rufus Millard Housden and Elsie Pearl Hite Housden.
He was the owner and operator of Housden and Sons Auto Body for 50 years.
He is survived by one daughter, Rose Frazier of Harpers Ferry, three sons, Donald Housden, Jr. and Bonnie of Harpers Ferry, Tony Housden and Diane of Kearneysville, Mark Housden and Luis Sanchez of New Jersey, companion, Debbie Bayles, five grandchildren, Cherokee and Rocky, Scottie and Alexa, Hattie and Gary, Veronica and Eric, Rochelle and Dustin, seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, Linda, Kathy and Angie and one brother, Glen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Hattie in 2007, one son, Ricky Lane Housden, five sisters and eleven brothers.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Roy Trammell officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 6-8 pm.
