Tony Lee Housden, Sr., 75, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, March 9, 1949, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 surrounded by family at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.
Tony was a tech sergeant and was retired military for U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Tony loved casinos and was extremely lucky. Collecting sports cards and memorabilia was one of his favorite hobbies. He was a big fan of the Cardinals and Blues.
He was preceded in death by his:
Parents, Virgil A. and Luvina Mae, nee Smelzter, Housden
Sister, Rachel M. Moats
Surviving are his loving:
Wife of 53 years, Janice A., nee Fravel, Housden of Belleville, IL
Son, Tony Housden Jr. of Belleville, IL
Brother, Larry A. (Carol) Housden of Ohio
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) In lieu of flowers.
Funeral Procession: Family and friends are to gather Monday, December 23, 2024 at Kurrus Funeral Home at 12:00 pm for departure in procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 12:15 pm.
Graveside Service: Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
