Dr. Donald K Hsu

Dr. Donald K. Hsu, age 77, of Fort Lee, passed peacefully at home on Friday, October 4th, 2024. Born in Shanghai, China, and a resident of Fort Lee, New Jersey.
He worked as a tenured associate professor at Dominican University. As a devoted educator, he also held various positions at different education institutions. He has contributed over 45 years of his life in the academic arena and has taught and guided thousands of students all over the world. He also conducted international conferences at various academic fields; he has been in 80 plus countries in the span of 18 years. His love for teaching is unprecedented. His love is reciprocated by his students. As he taught, he also learned new concepts from his students as well. His motto is a saying from Confucius, "Education for all without discrimination."
At his leisure, he enjoyed watching movies and gathering new ideas to merge with his teaching.
Loving husband to Salome Hsu, Cherished father to Douglas and Tina Hsu. Adored grandfather to Rosabel and Stanley Hsu. Predeceased by his parents Guo Zhong and Jing Yi Hsu.
The family will receive their friends on Saturday October 12th from 1-5pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library".
