Donald Edward Humphrey, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati on October 19, 1940, to Russell and Stella Humphrey (nee Morgan).
Donald is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 50 years, Kathleen Humphrey (nee Covert), and their children: Michael (Patty) Humphrey, Kimberly (Mark) Taulbee, and John (Kim) Humphrey. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren: Mark Taulbee, Ryan (Rose) Taulbee, Stephanie Humphrey, Jessica Humphrey, Michelle (Jeoffrey) Joseph, Lauren Humphrey, Everly Joseph, Carter Wilson, Bryson Wilson, and Brynlee Ann Joseph. He is also survived by his sister, Stella "Fay" (Ray) Brown, along with numerous other relatives and friends who will miss his warmth and humor.
Preceding him in death were his father, Russell Humphrey; mother, Stella Humphrey; son, Donald Humphrey, Jr.; and sister, Joan Vollman.
Donald was known for his lively spirit and outgoing personality, making him a beloved figure to all who knew him. He had a passion for sports, especially as an avid fan of the Bengals and Reds. Above all, he treasured the moments spent with his family and was known for his strong work ethic, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
A graveside service will be private.
