Donald Wayne Huskey

Donald Wayne Huskey of Sherman, Texas passed from this life at the age of 72. He was born October 26, 1951 in Whitwell, Tennessee to Edward and Maudie Huskey.
Wayne was a mechanic and truck driver throughout his life. He was into drag racing in his younger years. Wayne liked to fish and read, he read just about everything. He was always ready to tell a story or 3. He never met a stranger. He was always telling jokes and he would just be silly sometimes around the kids. He will be sorely missed by his family.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother Maudie Huskey; father Edward Huskey; 3 wives Darlene Propes, Patti Huskey, and Susan Bates.
Survivors include his sister Mary Mitchell of Dallas, Texas; sons Jerry Huskey of Emory, Texas, Jesse Germany of Vincennes, Indiana; daughters Diane Gosline and husband David of Durant, Oklahoma, Regina Dale and husband Randy of Cleveland, Tennessee, Stacy Melton of Dallas, Texas, Elizabeth Huskey of Athens, Texas, Jennifer Huskey of Dallas, Texas, Jana Haskins and husband Jonathan of Buckhannon, West Virginia; grandchildren Joshua Mygrants, Britney Mygrants, Anthony Dale, Caroline Dale, William Laster, Noah Bates, Chelsey Wilson, Jordyn Haskins, Jayson Haskins, Maddy Haskins, Macey Haskins, Christina Nusbaum, Micah Wayne Crossland; great grandchildren Renesmae Mygrants, Guinever Mygrants, Thomas Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Elias Wilson, Benjamin Wilson; nephew Mark Mitchell and wife Joanne and their kids Joshua, Jessica, and Olivia of Sydney, Australia.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
