MILLBURY – Donald “Uncle Duck” James Jezyk, 82, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at his home. Beloved husband of the late Joan Jezyk of 57 years. Devoted and loving father of the late Brian C. Jezyk.

He will be remembered by his brother Daniel and wife Rita Jezyk of Sutton, his 2 nieces Danielle Barry and her husband Peter of Holden, Suzie Doherty and her husband Kevin of Billerica. His great nephews and niece P.J Barry and fiancé Shannon Braley of Worcester, MA, Julia Barry of Holden, Ronan and Gavin Doherty of Billerica. 

Donald was born in Worcester, a son of the late James W Jezyk and Aurelia (Tyburski) Jezyk. He graduated from Millbury High School in 1959. He worked at Wyman Gordon’s for 39+ years and spent his retirement mostly traveling to his favorite beaches and Foxwoods. Donald enjoyed every moment that he spent with his beloved wife, son, family and friends. He loved to travel to Hampton Beach to their beach house on Charles Street, Saint Martin for over 30 years and many Foxwoods trips. He always enjoyed socializing at the casino, playing Texas hold’em every week with a great bunch of friends, meeting new people and was an avid Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics & Bruins fan. He loved being with family and all the life celebrations. Donald's loving spirit will have a special place in heaven. The family wishes to thank his caregiver, Gretchen Jordan. Gretchen always made him smile and got the freshest pastries as requested! 

Family and friends will honor and remember Donald’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Nov. 5th from 10 to 11:45 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. His funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home following the visitation at noon, followed by burial in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
