Donald Ray Johnson was born March 10, 1948 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life on June 21, 2024 in Dallas, TX.
Donald proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. Donald retired from the Lancaster ISD with many years of service as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Ray Johnson and Mary Frances Stinson.
Donald is survived by his brother, Jon V. Johnson and wife, Carmen; his brother, David Johnson; his sister, Belinda A. Stinson; his sister, Christine Sheridan and husband, Dennis; his son, Allen Henderson; his granddaughter, Tristen King; his great-granddaughters, Oakley and Reece Poole; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster. A graveside celebration of Donald's life will be at 11:00am on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton, TX.
