Donald Lee

PRINCETON – Donald Shane Lee, 58, of Princeton, died Monday, December 19, 2022. Born May 24, 1964 in Princeton, he was the son of Lena Pearl Lee of Fayetteville, NC and the late Archie Van Lee, Sr.
Donald's family relocated to New York when he was two years old and he attended school in the New York school system. After he finished school, he married Joann Cox on November 20, 1984. From their marriage he had two children, Kayla Lee and Kieare Lee both of Allentown, PA and he fathered three more children, Dominque Lee of New York and James Lee and David Lee both of Virginia. He relocated to Fayetteville, NC where he worked for Lowe's and moved back to Princeton in 2012 and worked for Lowe's.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Archie Lee, Jr., Sylvester Lee and Darren Lee.
Other survivors include three sisters, Debra Lee, Tammy Lee and Sharon Addison all of New York; one brother, Ronald Lee of NC; aunts, Carolyn McKinney of Florida and Rita West of New York; uncles, David Lee of Giatto and Mark Lee, Fred Lee and Theadore Lee all of Roanoke, VA; and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor David Lee officiating.
