Donald Elmer Mallery

Donald Elmer Mallery, 89, Fort Thomas, KY passed away at UC Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 30, 1935, to Patrick & Dorothy (nee Schuerman) Mallery.
February 5 was another bittersweet day as we said goodbye to our Dad, Brother, Papaw, Great Papaw, Uncle and Friend. Don was a man of faith and devotion to Mary and the Rosary. He was a man of unwavering strength and boundless love for all his family. His dedication and adoration to his wife of 67 (72) years was a testament to a lifelong partnership. A Love that endured through decades and set the bar on what true love looks like. Don was a pillar of quiet strength and a steady and strong presence. His spirit and the lessons he taught us will forever be woven into the fabric of our lives. He was selfless, determined, rigid and strong.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents, Patrick & Dorothy Mallery; in-laws, Paul & Margaret Schroder; his siblings, Bobby, Tom(Peg), Dick(Jean); in-laws, Patsy, Joe, JeanRae(Chuck), Margie(Dick),Paul, Ann & Rita.
He is survived by his 8 children, Mike Mallery, Kim (Greg) Dunn, Lynn (Rich) Dees, Tim (Vhon) Mallery, Debbie (Steve) Moeves, Donna Reyna, Kristi Schnelle & Amy (Lee) Herzner, 24 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen & Bud (Jill) Mallery, sister-in-law, Linda Schroder as well numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews & Godchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 p.m., February 14th at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas. Interment will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
