Donald Page Obituary

Donald Eugene ""Popeye"" Page, 92, of Fort Wayne, graduated to heaven on January 25, 2026,

He was born on May 1, 1933. Don grew up at Blue Lake, Indiana, and graduated from Churubusco High School. He served in the Korean War, stationed in Heidelberg, Germany, where he printed top-secret governmental maps alongside his lifelong friend, Jack Sims. He married Virginia Irene Roy on October 12, 1957. Don often said he wasn't a good Christian until he met Virginia, and when they started a family, he then understood how the Lord wanted us to live. They moved into their forever home with enough space for the kids to play and became members of St. Vincent De Paul Parish in 1961. Don took great pride in his career at Keefer Printing, where he made many lifelong friends. At an early age, he developed a love for auto racing. He tore apart and put back together his first engine at just 10 years old. He raced at many area speedways, including Fort Wayne International Speedway, alongside his friends Gray Robling and Larry Zent. He loved his cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, tractors, and golf cart. Don and Virginia were members of the Ford Model T International Association and the Casual T's. They enjoyed many trips with the club and his beloved Model T. He was also a member of the Potawatomi 50-50 Snowmobile Club. This close group of friends enjoyed numerous trips to Michigan's Upper Peninsula and out west. Don was an avid supporter of the pro-life organization in Fort Wayne, spending countless days praying and supporting in front of the abortion clinic. He never lost his childlike sense of humor, always put family first, and lived by the words of Mother Teresa:

"Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier." He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Irene Page; his son, Phillip Eugene Page; and his siblings, Idella Florence Page, Betty Lou Burke, Mary Frances Lee, and Paul James Page. Don is survived by his children Vincent Page, Scott (Krystal) Page, and Denise (Ross) Marasovich; grandchildren Tiffany Page, Alexa (Sam) Henry, and Nina Marasovich; and great-grandchildren Samuel William Henry II and Zuri Irene Henry.
