Donald A. Paulsen, age 77 of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12th.
Don was born Jan 16th, 1948 in Racine, Wisconsin before living in St. Louis, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois and most recently resided in the Cincinnati, OH area for the last 30+ years.
Don was a devoted husband for 55 years to the love of his life Margie Fritchen-Paulsen and a loving father to son Steven. Don was preceded in death by his father Norman A. Paulsen, mother Marjorie L. Paulsen and brothers Richard N. Paulsen and James Paulsen.
Don will be remembered by those who knew him as a kind hearted, loving soul that would create joy around him with his sense of humor and smile. Don grew up excelling in numerous sports and was an acclaimed basketball player in High School and College where he was inducted into the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater athletic hall of fame for his basketball achievements. Don loved to spend his free time at home with his family, traveling and playing his beloved game of golf with his friends and family. He was a welcoming soul that always enjoyed spending time with friends and family with a glass in hand and smile on his face.
Don is survived by his wife, Margie Fritchen-Paulsen, son Steven Paulsen, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a to be announced date and time.
